lyrics

I was hikin' the hills of home, real poor and boilin' over
when I thought I spied somethin'
in the midst of mushroom huntin'
there appeared a hidden hollow, and I got a dream to follow.
You could hear that idea hatch:
perfect place to cook a batch.
C'mon boys follow me, we're gonna build a new machine.
All in all all you need Sudafed and batteries.
All at once I felt much better, returned to the Supercenter
penciled in a big vacation:
freshly tendered resignation.
Helped myself to a severance package, pallet of propane,
white-tipped matches. Lashed the bathtub to the donkey,
took a swig and fed my kitty.
C'mon boys follow me, we're gonna build a new machine.
All in all all you need Sudafed and batteries.
Friends are just a dime a dozen that's why I got three blood cousins-
one with a chemistry degree and two who just left the clink.
We set out and we got to, finished 'fore the night was through.
Chef served me up with a two-day taste... hoo!
C'mon boys follow me, we're gonna build a new machine.
All in all all you need Sudafed and batteries.
Upon further investigation, I gaze upon my new creation-
consistency was much too chalky-
ain't fit for the street market!
Did what any man would do, called a meetin' of my crew-
declared in a fit of haste, "None of this shall go to waste!"
C'mon boys follow me, we're gonna build a new machine.
All in all all you need Sudafed and batteries.
Sun went up and the sun went down-
god, what is that buzzin' sound?
Everyone was evil speakin'-
all the while was somethin' leakin'.
We stood by just gnashin' teeth, insatiable as ancient demons
'til I took that fatal toke, and the lab went up like a holy beacon.
C'mon boys follow me, we're gonna build a new machine.
All in all all you need Sudafed and batteries, and some other things too.
